Using Ubuntu in Libraries
May 9, 2007 — techxplorerI saw this post on the blog of Jessamyn West and thought it very funny, as well as inspirational. In a short amount of time she takes two donated PC’s and turns them into Ubuntu workstations in a way only Jessamyn could.
I hope she makes other posts on her experiences with Ubuntu in the library. In answer to her question, we’re using Ubuntu on two development servers at MPOW. Linux is used in other places in the Library, but they’re running other distributions. I’ve embedded Jessamyn’s movie below.
