Participating in Collaborative Blogging

July 21, 2006 at 9:31 am | In Thoughts | 4 Comments

Last night I was privilaged to be able to post my first entry on the librariesinteract.info collaborative blog. The first post was just a small one introducing the RUBRIC project. In the next few weeks I plan on adding other posts about the collaborative work we’re doing here in the project.

My thanks to Librarian Kathryn for the invitation, who also has her own blog, and to Sit-ling at Murdoch University, one of our partner project partners, for the opportunity to contribute to the librariesinteract.info collaborative blog.

  1. Glad to have you Corey. Looking forward to hearing more about your work!

  2. Hi Corey – Its Kate (from RUBRIC). As part of a research project funded by ALIA – my friend Chelsea and I are researching into the use of blogs and wikis by Libraries (as compared to Librarians). We have a wiki for people to add their library blogs and wikis at: http://www.seedwiki.com/wiki/libraryblogswikis
Feel free to add any USQ or RUBRIC wikis and blogs to it.
    Cheers, Kate.

  3. Hi Corey – Kate from RUBRIC here.
As part of an ALIA research grant I am researching the use of blogs and wikis in australian libraries for referece services purposes. We have surveyed a sample of aust libraries and are just processing the results now for presentation at Information Online next year.
We have a wiki for people to add their Library blog and wiki details.
Feel free to add any USQ or RUBRIC blogs.
(please note – it is for Library Bs and Ws – as compared to librarian Bs and Ws)

  4. Hi Kate from RUBRIC,

I’ve noticed that the USQ blog is already in the list, and there isn’t an official RUBRIC blog so I’m afraid there isn’t much I can add to the site.

I do look forward to reading your paper at Information Online next year, perhaps I’ll even be able to go.

    Many thanks for commenting.

    -Corey
